The press
Packed & Ready Press is an independent press that publishes the Hurry Up & Wait series: activity books for kids aged 8–12 to use during the long waits at youth sports meets and competitions, one sport per book.
Anyone who has spent a weekend at a swim meet or a dance competition knows the pattern: a race or routine that lasts a minute or three, and hours of waiting around it. The series gives kids something to do in that time that isn’t another hour on a screen.

Robin Dindayal is a swim and dance parent based in Oakville, Ontario, and the author of the Hurry Up & Wait series. He wrote the books for kids like his own, who spend whole weekends at meets and competitions waiting for their turn.
Outside of writing, Robin is a product executive with more than 20 years of experience building software.
